Spotify wanted to host an event for industry people in celebration of a decade of Amapiano in a more, homey intimate space. To honor the artists as well as production team with a short award ceremony The event took place at the Constitution Hill with some of the A-Listers in attendance took keep the intimacy of the event. Spotify is launching a rebrand of Amapiano Grooves. Before we do that let’s appreciate those who got the playlist to where it is today – the most streamed playlist in South Africa.
The Family Dinner will be a moment to sit down and break bread with those who’ve been carrying the weight of Amapiano on their shoulders.
